The House and Grounds

 

The cottage offers high standards of accommodation and convenience. It includes one large lounge/dining room, two good-size bedrooms, a kitchen with patio doors to the rear garden, a bathroom with separate WC, a garage and an outdoor dining area.

 

 

The large dining room/lounge (30m2) has windows on 3 sides. With a large oak table and 8 chairs in the dining room, it's perfect for family and friends gatherings! In the lounge there are two sofas which can convert to two double beds, a colour TV, a radio/CD/DVD player, bookshelves with a selection of French & English books and an easy chair.

 

 

The main bedroom has a double bed, a storage cupboard and French-windows opening to the quiet front garden. In the second bedroom there are two bunk beds and a cot. Bedding is provided for all beds except the cot.

 

 

The kitchen has all necessary equipment, including a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave oven, gas cooker and oven, kettle, toaster, coffee-maker and a breakfast table.

The bathroom comprises of a bath with shower over, a sink and a bidet. Next to the bathroom is a separate toilet. The washing machine, drying and ironing equipment are kept in and around the garage.

From the kitchen, French doors lead onto the rear decking area and the large rear garden. The garden furniture includes an extendable wooden table and 6 chairs, 2 wooden deck chairs and a large parasol.

 

 

A stone barbecue is located near the decking area. The sunny decking area is perfect for outdoor meals.

There is a private timber-clad above-the-ground 4.5 metre diameter pool which is great for children and for cooling off when the temperature soars. Six bikes are provided (with two baby carriers) so you can make the most of the surrounding country lanes - if you feel like it!
