How to find the VillaThe Vendée area is located in the west of France. The village of St Gervais can be found in the North West of the Vendée département, 5 miles from the town of Challans (as indicated by the black cross below) and just 9 miles off the Atlantic coast. Detailed instructions on how to get to the villa will be provided prior to your holiday. The drive from the Normandie ferries takes between 3.5 and 5 hours.
How do you get to the Vendée?By CarSt Gervais can be reached in one day by car from most parts of the UK. The drive takes approx 3.5 hours from St Malo, 4 hours from Caen, 5 hours from Cherbourg and 7 hours from Calais. By PlaneRyanair flies direct from Stansted to Nantes on a daily basis and 2 to 3 times a week from East Midlands to Nantes. In 2011 Flybe started flying directly from various UK airports to Nantes, including from Manchester. There are also regular direct flights from Gatwick to Nantes. Nantes airport is 1 hour away from St Gervais. Several car rental companies can be found at the airport. |
